Since its inception in 1955, the affluent Rollingwood community has remained what it was originally designed to be: a safe, friendly neighborhood close to – but separate from – the big city life of downtown Austin. Rollingwood consists of approximately 450 single-family homes built primarily from the 1960s through the 1980s, with some new construction in the area as well.
